Break arch trunk door with raised gilt gesso decorated chinoiserie oriental scenes of figures in court landscape above Western depicted galleons and slave figures. Gilt floral decorated surround. The base box with raise gesso decoration of oriental courtiers on horse back. The brass break arch dial plate with applied makers signature to the arch with silvered brass moonphase and date aperture to the top of the arch. Minerva head scrolling foliate spandrels to the corners. Roman numeral silvered chapter ring, finely matted centre with engraved bordered edge to the date aperture and applied silvered subsidiary seconds dial. Blued and fretted steel hands.
